Big Mac 1989

Cleaning out my locker at work I found this Oakland Athletics Magazine from 1989. The cover shows a very young looking Mark McGwire. One of my coworkers knew that I was an A's fan and donated it to my collection.

While I'm looking for a new job (the last time was 25 years ago) I will be selling off some of my many collections. I decided, long before losing my job, if I start selling now I may get rid of it all before I die. I am a toy collector at heart. I think it comes from having very few toys as a youngster. My mom, a single working mother of five, had very little disposable income for toys.

College Cove best place for family picnic. Really?

The Eureka Reporter readers rated College Cove as the #1 best place for a family picnic. Really? According to the page which has run this week College Cove offers breathtaking vistas

Another of the world’s notable nudist beaches-College Cove Humboldt County: On a good day, about 50 / 100 visitors over both beaches. Both beaches are popular with young singles, although most of them are textile. There is a higher percentage of nudists on the south beach, but even there they are in the minority. Bizzarre Records: odd album art

Bizzarre Records: Images of strange and unusual vinyl records! A collection of thrift store and other junk records. Most of these are records that mainstream collectors consider too insignificant to bother with. You be the judge.
